On a day when the NFL — the league who openly let players disrespect the national anthem and in turn, the flag — has their biggest game of the entire season, all eyes will be on the players during the national anthem.
Oh wait, no they won’t… because ultra-liberal NBC won’t be showing the players while the anthem plays. That’s a whole different story.
What we Americans who used to watch the Super Bowl can be thankful for and proud of is the powerful statement President Donald Trump just released to the public on this day — a statement that makes darn sure the real heroes of this country, our troops, are remembered and respected.
Read the powerful message below:
Presidential Message on Super Bowl LII
As many Americans come together to watch the Super Bowl, Melania and I extend our greetings and appreciate for those who make occasions like this possible, particularly the brave men and women of our Armed Forces.
Though man of our Nation’s service members are unable to be home with family and friends to enjoy this evening’s American tradition, they are always in our thoughts and prayers. We owe these heroes the greatest respect for defending our liberty and our American way of life. Their sacrifice is stitched into each star and every stripe of our Star-Spangled Banner. We hold them in our hearts and thank them for our freedom as we proudly stand for the National Anthem.
We send our best wishes for an enjoyable Super Bowl Sunday. May God Bless and protect our troops, and may He continue to bless the United States of America.
